Join the A New Path team led by Glasgow-based artist Toby Paterson on two walking tours (11am and 2pm) on 24th July 2011 in partnership with Creative Scotland and London 2012 Open Weekend
The walks will take a look at artworks that are comprehensively integrated into their environment, whether that be physically through a relationship to architecture or imaginatively through collective memory. It will hint at the complexity of the functional city as a site for art, consider what constitutes ‘success’ in this field and reflect on the role time plays in expanding the meaning of individual works and their location.
